Yes, it\u2019s that time of the year again when the schools are just drawing to their conclusion. The end of another year and your children will be rushing home, all excited and enthusiastic, because it\u2019s time for summer vacation.<\/span><\/p>\n

But, being parents is a full time job and you don\u2019t get summer vacations, do you? Instead, your child\u2019s summer vacation can safely be called your overtime. While you have a 101 responsibilities on you, you simply can\u2019t leave your dear one unattended because an idle mind is the devil\u2019s \u00a0workshop. And leaving your kid in front of screens is a strict no-no.<\/p>\n

Fortunately, there are various activities that the parent and the child can indulge in which will not only be fun for the child but also a stressbuster for the parents.<\/p>\n

1. Take a tiny vacation<\/h5>\n

It\u2019s a classic yet never gets old. Take a week off and head to a nearby hill station or a beach. Spend time with your family and relax. This way, you and child will make a lot of new memories and strengthen your bond.<\/p>\n

2. Enroll your child into Summer Camps<\/h5>\n

Summer Camps are one of the most productive set of activities for your kid. You\u2019ll find a variety of summer camps for kids across all age groups. From App making to spoken English, the options are endless.<\/p>\n

3. A small picnic on the weekend<\/strong><\/h5>\n

If you absolutely can not afford to take a mini vacation, then you can always plan something fun to do over the weekends. A long drive or a visit to grandma\u2019s house is another fun way to keep your child entertained during those months of vacation.<\/p>\n

Find techniques to involve your kids in your work. You could teach them basic cooking, or help them bake some cookies or cake. Playing chef is one the best ways to involve your kids in the kitchen.<\/p>\n

During the early years of a child\u2019s growth, he\/she is more receptive towards to new languages and words. Encourage your child to read at least one page a day. This will help build his\/her vocabulary and acquire greater command over the language.<\/p>\n

This is one of the easiest methods to keep your children occupied for hours. Invite a few of their friends over and you\u2019ll have a summer party at home. A lot of creative board games are available in the market which are not only fun but also boost creativity and knowledge.<\/p>\n
